Emulators

An emulator is typically software or hardware that imitates or replicates a command.

I have also loved to base on the 2011 movie entitled Real Steel about robot boxing movie. Basically about a robot Atom that can mirror movements. Atom the hardware in this case is the emulator that imitates all commands with no fouls. That’s the amazing thing about emulators, the errors are as result in the line of code.

This helps to determine the errors in your project/app before completion. As earlier stated, emulators are of two forms:

    • Software
There are various emulator software though I would recommend Android Studio ->Virtual devices.

Reason being you can simply use Android Studio to develop and then run/test your application within the virtual device (emulators).

Note: In regards to Android Studio, the emulators has to be downloaded. Other emulator software include: BlueStacks, Nox, LDP layer among others.

    • Hardware
A smartphone can be used as an emulator.
You simply have to enable developer options in settings. Settings ->About phone ->Build number (Click seven times)->Back to Settings panel.
Note: This procedure is for Android devices. Alternatively, installation of an Unsigned apk on the smartphone.
